The GCWC was started in the late 1950’s and has hosted a great number of field trials over the years including the Mid America Classic with a record breaking entry.

In addition to field trials our club is host to two Specialty shows, one in June and one in Sept. as well as AKC Hunt Test and WCA Ratings. Our members have participated in field, obedience, conformation, agility, tracking and hunt test with this very versatile breed.
